Litigation Paralegal

Our growing civil litigation department is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our attorneys to manage cases from intake through resolution, ensuring matters move efficiently and clients receive exceptional service. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment, enjoys taking ownership of their work, and values precision, organization, and strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and correspondence
  • Organize and maintain case files, calendars, and deadlines
  • File documents (electronically and in person)
  • Conduct legal research
  • Summarize medical records, deposition transcripts, and discovery materials
  • Communicate with clients, court staff, and other legal professionals
  • Assist attorneys in preparation for hearings, trials, and depositions
  • Track billable time and maintain accurate timekeeping records

Qualifications:

  • Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program (preferred)
  • Minimum [3] years of experience as a paralegal (litigation and/or personal injury experience preferred)
  • Excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with court rules and electronic filing systems (e.g., NC eCourts)
  • Ability to multitask
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team


Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with case management software (e.g., Clio, Google Workspace)
  • Experience tracking billable time


Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Pay: $50,000–$60,000 based on experience

This position is in-office Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm.
