Haley Matson graduated from Wingate University in Wingate, North Carolina, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy, and graduated from Stetson University College of Law, in Gulfport, Florida, in 2023.  Previously, Haley worked in regulatory compliance and banking law, and has been with McIntyre Elder Law since early 2025. 

 

At Stetson, Haley was involved with the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition to restore state voting rights and was a teaching assistant for Secured Transactions and Chapter 11 Bankruptcy.  After graduating law school, Haley moved back to North Carolina, took the North Carolina Bar exam, and is now a member of the North Carolina Bar Association. She enjoys working with clients and engaging in legal research. 

In her free time, Haley enjoys swimming, reading, playing computer games, cooking, and playing with her two dogs; Babi and Coco.
