Hurricane Helene Update from McIntyre Elder Law

Hi, I’m Greg McIntyre, founder of McIntyre Elder Law. I wanted to take a moment to reach out to our clients and community members, especially those who are currently facing hardships after the recent hurricane. I know many people are still without power, water, or essential services. Unfortunately, even some of our team members are in that same situation, and we are working with them on a day-by-day basis to ensure that your estate planning and elder law needs continue to be met.

This blog will be periodically updated with resources for our communities affected by Hurricane Helene.

Our Commitment to Serving You

While this challenging situation has impacted many, I want to reassure you that we fully operational. Our Hendersonville office was fortunate enough to be spared from the worst of the storm—we have power, internet, and we are fully open for business. We are answering phones, and our team is available to help with any questions you may have about your case or your situation. We understand how important it is to maintain communication, especially during difficult times.

We are also aware that many people in the communities we serve, including Shelby and Hendersonville, are still facing significant challenges. Earlier this week, our offices handed out supplies in affected WNC areas to those in need. Our hearts go out to everyone who has been affected by the hurricane, and we are committed to doing our part to assist where we can.

Our Purpose and Mission: Protecting Families and Legacies

At McIntyre Elder Law, we are passionate about helping families and seniors protect their assets and legacies. This has always been our mission, and it continues to guide us even through adversity. While we can’t physically restore power or water, we can offer the legal support you need during this difficult time. Whether it’s ensuring your estate plan is up to date or answering questions about elder law, we are here to help you navigate the challenges ahead.

We are deeply committed to our purpose. Our team is working hard to ensure that your legal matters are handled promptly, and we want to be a resource for you in whatever way we can. If you need assistance or have concerns about your estate planning or elder law needs, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Community Support: Standing Together Through the Storm

We recognize the importance of coming together as a community during times like these. While we may not be able to climb the power poles or fix the water lines ourselves, we trust that Duke Energy and our local governmental agencies are doing their best to restore essential services as quickly as possible. We know that there are many dedicated individuals working tirelessly to bring resources and aid to those affected, and we are grateful for their efforts.

If you need anything, whether it’s legal assistance or just someone to talk to about your concerns, please give us a call. We are here for you during this time, and we will continue to do everything we can to assist you and your family.
